Although Spring won’t start officially until next week, it’s arriving early at St. Paul’s Lutheran Primary School and Kindergarten, who are holding their annual ‘Spring Fair’ tomorrow, Saturday the 30th of August.
A veritable army of volunteers have spent months organising this event, meeting regularly to ensure that all goes well on the big day. Spirits are high, and considering the inclement weather over the past few weeks, the prediction of fine weather tomorrow is especially welcome.
The day of fun and entertainment will start at 9am, and conclude at 3pm, with a Sports Memorabilia Auction, rides, hot food, and stalls galore. Performances from gymnastics groups and dancers, juggling lessons and a pie eating competition will contrast with a Kung Fu presentation, school group performances, the Grace Lutheran College Celtic ensemble and a guard dog demonstration. This year, market stalls will also be showcasing their own products for sale. The animal farm and pony rides will run all day, with entry included in the ‘Ride all-day armbands’, costing just $30 each.
Also running throughout the day are cent auction hampers, a silent auction, and a silent art auction. St. Paul’s annual Spring Fair, at 55 Smiths Road, Caboolture, is gearing up to be a fantastic day!
