Question: Why has St Paul's decided to implement Agile Learning and not retain more traditional approaches to learning?
Answer: Agile Learning at St Paul's reflects current research and knowledge of 21st Century teaching and learning practices. The St Paul's staff have spent a number of years visiting schools in Queensland and NSW along with keeping up to date with current research. We are not saying that traditional approaches to learning are completely wrong. What we are saying is that these traditional approaches to learning are not the most effective and relevant for those we currently teach. Although we are unsure of the jobs that may exist in the future, what we do know is that there are a particular set of skills that are most important. Agile Learning supports a better and more regular growth of these skills.
Next week ... What are these skills?
