Who wants to be a Pirate for a Day? Or make fizzy bombs and slime? Or dress up as a character from your favourite book? Children attending St Paul’s Lutheran Vacation Care can do all these and more, with the varied and engaging program designed by Director Mrs Shirley Crispe.
“The children have been having a lot of fun this week! We’ve got plenty of activities. Professor Jellybean visited, and did “freaky fun science” with the children – and the fizzy bombs and slime were very popular! We’ve done candle-making, with two different types of candles, and our pyjama party was fantastic,” she said. “We all came in our pyjamas, and watched movies and ate popcorn, cinnamon toast and raisin toast, curled up in our sleeping bags and under our blankets. It was a great day!” she added.
St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School Vacation Care is a friendly, safe environment, open to all children of Primary School age, not just students at St Paul’s. It operates from 6.30am until 6pm weekdays, governed by Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services (QLECS), and has been running successfully at St Paul’s for more than a decade.
