School Council

Our school council provides local governance for the school and is appointed by and delegated this responsibility by the governing body for the school, the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District.

The School Council has members drawn from the Lutheran Church and other Christian denominations with backgrounds in areas including education, finance, theology and business. School Council meets once per month during school terms.

To operate efficiently, School Council also operates with a Finance Sub Committee responsible for monitoring and valuating school operations in the areas of finance. This sub committee meets once per month during school terms and is made up of at least one School Council member with other committed and interested community members.
