こんにちは Konnichiwa,

This term in Japanese, all classes will continue to learn and practice different greetings and phrases through rhymes, song and games. They will also further explore Japanese culture by learning more about Martial Arts and Sumo Wrestling.

Prep students will be focusing on learning the vocabulary for animals and colours and learning how to use this in a basic Japanese sentence.

Year 1 – 4 students will be focusing on learning the vocabulary for weather and seasons and using this to discuss the weather in Japanese.

Students in Years 5 & 6 will be continuing to develop their understanding of number through counting, ages, months and dates. We will then go on to learning the days of the week.

Please find listed below some useful Japanese YouTube clips and links that you might like to practice at home.

Thank you for your support.
