At St Paul's Lutheran Primary School, we strive to make all welcome. As central to our mission and ministry, at St Paul's we seek to develop lifelong qualities for learners (Lutheran Education Australia). These qualities encourage us to live in a community, reflecting the characteristics of God through the core values of LOVE, JUSTICE, COMPASSION, FORGIVENESS, SERVICE, HUMILITY, COURAGE, HOPE QUALITY AND APPRECIATION.
At St Paul's we have an expectation that everyone will be treated with respect and dignity. Everyone should feel safe and valued and it is everyone's responsibility to ensure that this happens not just at school, but around the world. To ensure this understanding, students actively support a community service project each Term.
Our Chaplain, Teneille Kirby is a past student of St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School. She lives locally with her husband and two children and has a love of music and enjoys singing at her church.
Teneille began her journey as St Paul’s Chappy in April 2016.
The aim of our Chaplaincy program is to support the emotional wellbeing of students by providing pastoral care services and strategies that support the wellbeing of the broader school community.
‘Pastoral care’ is the practice of looking after the personal needs of students through the provision of general spiritual and personal advice.
