To assist working parents, St Paul’s operates an accredited outside School Hours Care (OSHC) facility, St Paul’s Lutheran OSHC, which is managed on our behalf by Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services (QLECS). OSHC operates during school terms, school vacation and pupil free days.
All parents are encouraged to enrol with the service even though they may not feel the need to use it. However, it can be a very handy backup for those times when mum and dad can’t make it in time to pick up students. There is a $25 enrolment fee per family per year. We have permanent and casual bookings available.

Parent / Guardian Handbook
The 2023 fee structure is outlined below:

| After School Care: 3:00pm to 6:00pm | $29 ($34 Casual) per session |
| Vacation Care Days: 6:30am to 6:00pm | $60 (prior to 48hrs notice) $70 (within 48hrs notice) |
| Pupil Free Days | $60 (prior to 48hrs notice) $70 (within 48hrs notice) |
Cancellation Fee: Equal to the cost of the session. Cancellation Fee is waived if notice of cancellation is given before the close of business hours one day in advance (two days for Vacation Care and Pupil Free Days).

Vacation care
St Paul’s Vacation Care Program operates at the St Paul’s Lutheran OSHC facility, during term breaks and Christmas holidays. A varied and engaging program is provided and bookings open a few weeks prior to the commencement of the program. Vacation Care at St Paul’s Lutheran OSHC is open to all primary school-age children, including those that do not attend St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School.
